Cody Berry

Cody Berry is a Ph.D. student in Mechanical Engineering at Ontario Tech University. His main research focus is on Integrated Inspection Systems (IIS). These systems involve the meshing of sensing systems (laser scanning, photogrammetry, etc.) and manufacturing systems (3D printers, milling machines, etc.) to enable in-situ process correction, reducing manufacturing waste and ensuring the best output. His Master’s research, also with AD2M Labs worked on part correction on hybrid manufacturing machines. This research focused on minimizing the cost associated with in-situ repair through manipulation of the substitute geometry, also through the use of an IIS. In his spare time, he enjoys woodworking and walking his dog.
